Savour wonderful flavours on the banks of the Seine
The setting
A great restaurant in Vernon, next to the Seine, and opposite the white cliffs of Giverny — could it be anything but Blossom Bistrot? Let your host Ludwine welcome you and take a seat inside the restaurant or out on our terrace. Wherever you sit, you’ll be able to enjoy the river flowing by while enjoying our inventive cooking.
Our cuisine
This is our cuisine, created by our chef, Gabin. We favour simple dishes elevated by technical mastery that make the sometimes unexpected combinations of surprising flavours sing. Gabin may only cook with local produce, but he finds inspiration everywhere — from traditional French cooking and around the world.
He knows how to reinterpret his favourite iconic bistro dishes without spoiling them!

Giverny
Cradle of impressionism
We’re just 15 minutes from Vernon train station and from there you can rent a bike to explore the surroundings.
Of course, Giverny is a must.
The Monet Gardens are just 15 minutes by bike, less than ten minutes by car, or an hour’s walk if you’re feeling brave. The walk is very pretty as Vernon and Giverny are located on either side of the Seine.
Why should you visit Giverny? For its amazing light; like nowhere else according to Claude Monet the impressionist painter. For its Japanese-style water garden and its water lilies which inspired the artist’s world-famous paintings. And to see the work of the master painter who lived there for more than 40 years until his death in 1926.
At Giverny you can visit the Fondation Monet and the Impressionist Museum.
